This network is available to professionals that engage with the Core Team of Cheshire & Warrington Sports Partnership. This could include:
- access to individuals within specific organisations that directly fund the work of the Core Team (for example, Local Authorities)
- organisations / individuals that the Core Team needs to work with to ensure contract delivery (for example, NGB’s and PDM’s)
- organisations / individuals which the Core Team have commission / contracted to provide services on their behalf (for example, Sport Unlimited providers)
- the facilitation of a network for key groups within the Partnership (for example, FESCOs)
- communication for specific work activities (for example, the Cheshire Challenge)
The network complements the CWSP website. The CWSP website (www.cwsportspartnership.org) is primarily aimed at communicating with those providing opportunities to play or run sport within Cheshire & Warrington. The CWSP Network provides a forum to aid communication between those professionals with whom the Core Team has, in most instances, contractual responsibilities. The site has been developed by the County Sport Partnership who have overall responsibility for its on-going management. It is currently free to register on the site which is not intended for use by the general public.
